I organised Imperial Care to provide a daily support package for my elderly parents who still live at home after the received an atrocious service from North Lanarkshire Council so were sceptical of getting more support at home. I am a qualified Social Worker and Social care senior Manager so I know what a good support package should be.
The service from Titi, Alfred and the small team of support workers providing care to my parents is excellent and everything the Local Authority service was not.
The have provided a very small team of named support staff who are highly respectful, turn up at the same time every day and treat my parents in a completely dignified and person centred manner. The are not just task and time focussed but take the time to chat and establish a reassuring relationship with my parents. They have re-established my parents faith in the system and both my mum and dad are very happy with the support they have been provided with.
As Registered Manager, Titi has been very involved in managing the service in a hands on way and has had regular contact with me to ensure the service is working for my parents best interests and to receive any feedback or comments from me.
I cannot praise the service provided so far by Imperial highly enough and they are a great example of how an excellent community support provider should practice
